Player Responsibilities/ Code of Conduct
MUFC Super-20
1. Smoking, Drinking, and Drug Use are strictly prohibited. You have a responsibility to your body, yourself, and your team.
 
 
2. Be at all scheduled training sessions, matches, and functions on time. This includes being dressed, shoes and shin guards, and ready to play.
 
 
3. If you can not attend a training session or match see the coach as soon as you are aware of the conflict. Last minute arrangements are unacceptable unless it is an emergency. You should avoid appointments with doctors, dentist, etc.; you have a schedule well in advance. If it is totally impossible to contact the coach, then see/call your captain(s).
 
 
4. Any questions, comments, criticisms, etc. should be directed immediately to the coaching staff or the captain(s). Don't put your unhappiness or discontent on a teammate(s), these affect morale. Air out your thoughts and do it at appropriate times and manner.
 
 
5. No jewelry is to be worn at any time.
 
 
6. Players do not have the right to argue, use profanity (verbal or non-verbal), or provoke opponents, teammates, coaches, spectators, or officials. Such conduct is inappropriate and will not be tolerated. Remember you represent the club, the USL, and yourself. BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS !!!
 
 
7. Players who are ejected/withdrawn from a match (i.e., red card, or two yellow cards) for dissent will be suspended for two matches.
 
 
8. Nutrition: Players should maintain a healthy diet of carbohydrates and protein. Caffeine and high levels of sugar should be avoided, particularly prior to training and matches. Replenish fluid loss through water and sport drinks.
 
 
9. Curfews: Players are expected to get the appropriate rest during a very demanding season. Therefore, players should expect to be home at the designated times set by the coaching staff.
 
 
10. Hazing: Is strictly forbidden in any form. Please notify the coaching staff immediately of any inappropriate behaviors that suggest hazing.
 
 
11. Fees shall be paid when due in full. This includes the fees that involve team travel costs during regular and post-season play.
 
 
12. Only 18 players can be selected from the player pool established following tryouts. The coaching staff will make the selection. If a player is not selected for a roster in a particular week it is there responsibility to honor the coaches decision and work hard to make the next selection while in training.
 
 
13. Be a part of the team, get involved, and enjoy the experience!
